Mother Nature must be bipolar today. When I woke this morning the sun was shining. I was hopeful that it would be a nice day. Ha, joke was on me. The sky clouded up and it downpoured. Then the sun came out for about 5 minutes. Then it downpoured again. The sun came out again for a brief moment and the rain came again. It has been going on like this all day! I know that they say that if you don't like the weather in New England wait 5 minutes as it is bound to change, but this is ridiculous!

Sounds like you are having the same kind of weather I am having. We woke up and I put shorts on the kids, it was sunny. For some reason I had them put pants on before we left to the store. It ended up raining on and off ever since. At the moment it is overcast but not raining. The weather just does not want to make up it's mind today.

The only positive thing about the weather was that it was cooler and I could bake the cookies for my nephew.

That was our weather a week ago, Thursday evening. Everytime I took a particular client with MS out of the van to go in somewhere, or out of an activity to get into the van it poured buckets. I had gotten a hooded jacket for her, but I was drenched. When I finally took her home, I told her, "Forget your walker, I am going to get your wheel chair so we can run." I still got drenched. It was warm, it was fun. I want you to know, I kept it here so it would not rain on your son's wedding, then I packaged it up for you this week. LOL. Why should I have all of the fun?

You are too funny! Thank you for warding off the bad weather for us! You could have at least sent us warm rain today! It was a bit on the chilly side.

That is the way it has been here today in Oklahoma too!
I woke up and the sun was poking me in the eyes. Mean sun! ha ha
Then I crawled out of bed and while eating breakfast, I thought we might go in the pool today. But then the next thing we knew, it was raining. Hmm...only 30 percent chance according to weather person. Guess that is it right?
Yup! That was it! So the kids and removed the pool cover, I tested the water, added some chemicals and set the timer for 30 minutes wait time.
While waiting, we ate lunch and with only 10 minutes left until we could go in...it started raining again. Grrrr
OK, sorry kids, can't go swimming today. 30 percent chance is back again.
After we put everything up from lunch, my daughter then tells me that the sun came back out. Really? OK, quick, take the dogs out to potty because they will not potty in the rain. Are you sure it is nice? Yup? Sun is out and burning off the rain. OK! Everyone can change for the pool!!! :D Yay! Says the kids!!!!
They made a quick change too! We get into the pool and I have only adjusted to the temperature enough to be standing in the water up to my waist and I realize that it just got darker. Oh! I thought that too last...I just heard thunder too!
OK, y'all only have a few minutes because it is going to rain again soon. Sure enough, a couple minutes later, it starts raining. Maybe it will pass quickly. I will let them swim just a couple minutes more in the rain...they are wet anyways.
Thunder again. OK...forget it, everyone out!
I give up! Rain. Sun. Rain. Sun. Rain. Pool is covered and we are not going back in today. So let it rain now. I give up! ha ha

Mother Nature certainly has had us scratching our heads lately. The weather this year has been pretty abnormal.

It was a beautiful day here in New York today. Its a bit windy though. Yesterday was the crazy day for us. It was nice out for most of the day then the storms came on and off. One storm produced a tornando about 10 miles south of me. I was scared when I saw that my county was under a tornando warning. We don't see many tornandos here. I got a picture of the sky yesterday morning before the storms hit. It was an awesome sight. Here is a picture....

Red sky at night, Sailors delight. Red sky at morning, Sailors take warning! We have had tornados in our area on several occasions. Fortunately I have never had one close by.

Today is the wettest day in the UK for 50 years according to the news this morning. They are expecing 2 to 4 inches (50 to 100 mm) of rain to fall over most of England today and we have had frequent rain and thunderstorms all month. Last month was the wettest May since the 1850's when they started to keep records, and this month seems to be setting records in the wetness stakes as well.

I got up this morning and it was a nice morning. The sun was shining and no wind. I am from kansas and it it always windy. So I got on my bike and went for a ride. About 10 minutes passed and the sun was gone and it started to thunder. I got home just in time when the rain started. Now the sun is out again. So I went and washed some clothes out and hung them outside on the line, not more than 15 minutes later it started to rain agin. I ran out took the clothes off the line and put them in the dryer.
You never can tell what the weather will be like in kansas.

Our weather in Ohio is like that too. Sometimes, I've even seen it rain heavily in one small area, then I'll drive down the road a mile, and it's completely dry. Then a few days ago, it was in the 80's and then it dropped to 37 degrees at night. I can't depend on the weather reports either. They are seldom accurate.

Come out my way honey. It is beastly hot, day after day, week after week, year after year. No surprises, just stinking hot heat of 115 or more. I will gladly have the bipolar mother nature, wanna switch? :)

Send your rain my way. Our weather is the same here wait 5 minutes and it will change. Lately its staying the same hot and dry. Last week we had a nice amount of rain, but it only was a small amount compared of the drought that we are having. Maybe soon you will get more sun and we will get more rain.

you know the statement " if you don't like the weather in ............. wait five minutes as it is bound to change " is something that is said in every part of the country that I have been. Every one in the places I have lived thinks that the statement originated with them , it is quite funny actually .
We had sun that turned to rain here today. The weather here on Grand Manan is different that either land masses on either side of us . We live in the Bay of Fundy. New Brunswick is north, Nova Scotia South and then Maine is west . We never know if we will get the same weather as one of these places or not .It seems to depend on the wind. I have learned not to expect summer weather before the last week of June , or the first part of July.

Maybe we could give Mother nature some Lithium, help level her off.
Personally, I don't mind the rain, it usually cools things down a bit. What bothers me is that it is raining in one part of a road and not a mile away. You can hear the thunder and never get it.
