Yes, that's the feeling of a mom, but if we think of our work then probably we get through it.
How can we buy milk, vitamins, and cloths of our baby if we won't work.
Just think on how to earn more for our family then i am sure it will help.

I have that same problem if I don't have my daughter. I wake up times when I think she should be awake. It's just the "mommy scense" as my sister calls it.

OMG! I have three kids ages 9, 5 & 1 and they all sleep beside me at night...lol..I can't imagine a night without them, I would probably feel empty inside also:) We live on Saipan and my in-laws are in Guam, at this point we are not an speaking terms because I refuse to let my kids go off island away from me! I really don't care, I love all my kids with my whole heart, they are my life, my world and the light in my soul! Therefore, I can not be apart from them for even one night:)

Letting my baby boy sleeps in other's house makes me sick! Even in my own mother, I don't allow him. I feel jealous every time somebody will fall him to sleep. I think as a mother, I should do all the wake up and bed time routines for him. And needless to say, I really can't sleep, I used to be cuddling him before bed time and changing the things that I used to do before 8pm, it gives me a hard time sleeping.
And I think it has an effect to his attitude if I allow him to grow up that way, sleeping at other's house. Even he is still a baby (1 yr. old), I want to make him feel that he can't sleep without us. I want to make him feel that even in the night I want our family to be intact as much as I could.
And above all, he is my only son! I will not allow anyone to replace my part as a mom even in a single night.

I would feel the same way if I'm in your shoes, though I haven't experienced that. I don't let my baby sleep with my mother-in-law nor with my mother. I can't imagine how I'd sleep without her at my side. Anyway, what you feel is natural, don't worry. Just look forward on the night that you'll have your baby back. :)

Yes that is totally natural!! My husband took our two kids to visit some relatives out of town for the week and I stayed home to have some quiet mom time. But it is really hard to enjoy the time to myself because I miss my kids SOO much!! I haven't gotten much done because I am sad about my kiddos not being here =( They are coming home tomorrow though and I can't wait!!
