It's rainy season, do you always bring umbrellas with you wherever you go?

I NEVER carry an umbrella. Getting a little wet doesn't hurt, and also, i don't like the bulk (presumably, walking to school and back). I have a baseball cap, seems to work well enough.

If that suits you, why not? At least you still have that protective covering.

It could be that rains don't hit too hard here, but even so, I still don't carry an umbrella at all. If I have to walk, most likely, I'm going to get wet anyway. If I'm driving, I'm not going to be in the rain any longer than a minute. Getting a little wet doesn't matter to me, and I don't seem to get sick when I stay out in the cold. It's just that personally, I do not have a point in carrying an umbrella. I don't mind being exposed to the elements.
Also, if it's really bad, a good idea is to take a warm bath when you get home.

I just purchased a new purse. It came with a matching unbrella that fits into the bottom of the purse. I love it, now I will never be out without an unbrella again

Wow, that sounds great, bringing a lightening rod. I think that is the best thing to do. Thanks!

Yes, I always have an umbrella with me- even it is not raining at all. I am just so used to it. i always placed it inside my bag. I dunno why, but maybe because I am used of bringing bag everytime i go out, and it is one of those "accessories" i always have inside my bag- my umbrella.

yeah, i always carry my umbrella during the rainy seasons.
the rains here are so unpredictable that they pour down suddenly without even having a sign of rain.
So I always carry my umbrella as I do not want to be caught unawares by the rains.

I and my son wear our rain coats and if its extremely raining out like it does here sometimes. we wear rain pants. we live in a rainforest so it rains alot. Today was rainy because the warm weather was trying to melt the snow we just got 2 days ago. I love this part of Alaska. we get snow late and now it wants to all melt. I like the sidewalks and roads free from ice and snow. I guess I like wearing my tennis shoes all year long would be nice. I don't believe umbrella's keep us dry. Yes I have one though, its a huge umbrella but we don't use it much.

i do. even if its the rainy season or the summer season. ^__^
i dont like walking under the scorching sun without an umbrella and i dont like to be soaked under the rain during the rainy season. ^__^;; so i make sure i have my folding umbrella inside my bag. that is why i always buy folding umbrellas and not those straight ones. so i can easily jam one inside my small bag. ^__^

yeah i always make it a point to carry my umbrella with me.and you are very much true that it helps us both ways.from the scorching sun and also from thay unusual downpour.but usually i carry it with me in rainy season.
our climate is really being unpredictable now a days.and in rainy season we don't know when sun is sitting in the sky and when the clouds starts dancing in the sky.so its better to have preventive measures rather being embarrased in the public.but yes sometimes though i have my umbrella with me,i don't mind pampering myself and getting wet in the rain.its really very enjoyable.

yes, being cautious in everything is being protective about anything.
