I feel so bad today upon knowing that my sales was short of $300. But I'm 100% sure that its complete when I put it in my Boss drawer. I burst into tears because the fact that I did not done wrong I need to pay it by working three sundays. How awful when you can do nothing to prove that you've done no wrong. We are three workers and the thing is I left the money inside our boss drawer which we usually do. I just don't know why its short of $300. Any advise please I badly need it... Thanks!!

I've been a sales associate for many years, and lots of times my drawer came up short, but if I knew that I hadn't done anything wrong, I just waited it out hopeing that when the boss did the total counts for the day it would come up uder a different shift. As the years go on, you learn to watch your money like it's your life, you'll remember who might have gotten money if it does come up missing and what happened. Just always remember to double count, count it to yourself and count it down to 0 to make sure you didn't miscount on closeing. When you give out change, always remember to take the money they give you before you punch how much, and count that again too, count the change back to them, and if you give them too much or too little you'll catch it. But if you do all this already and you still know there was nothing missing, then it will probably come up, or someone stole it. So don't worry a few sundays really is better than haveing give up your paycheck, or get fired. Your boss might just be saying that to get you to work some free sundays too.

Well soon, what will happen is that the days that the person is working, the money will be missing and the days they are off the money will be fine. GOD is trustworthy He will find the person who is trying to harm you and the business, and deal with them acordingling, probably by haveing them get caught. In the meantime, do NOT ever leave your cash drawer unattended, and if you do, make sure someone won't have access to it. DO NOT let anyone run your cash drawer.

as a cashier, you got to know about the cash handling policy. whatever differ between the drawer amount with the actual cash your received, you got to pay of it. you can't blame anyone. i'd worked as cashier before, and the same thing happen to me as well. after all, i will try to keep the big note under the compartment of the drawer or you can always scam out the cash in drawer every hourly basic. it's help in case of robbery happen.
