Why do you think time is so important to our life?

Why do you think time is so important? Time is running out. We have to finish report because we have a deadline to meet. We have to be at the airport 2 hours before the flight. A critical patient has been given 24 hours to survive the crisis and live or die. The wedding is at 3 pm. At our office an adage is writen at the bottom of every wall clock hang on the wall saying "This clock will never be stolen everybody is always watching it." The boss put it there because he said everybody at the office is so concious of time. The President was shot dead on....blah blah blah...everything is binded by time. I am curious on how everybody here would see the significance of time why is it so important to each individual? For me it is within the time that each life evolve. What about you what do you think? Time is one of the most important thing in our life..coz we can never turn back out time and we cant control time..if we miss something we cant actually say ''i dont have to worry bout it,i can go back through it!"
