..do you agree of the new bill recently passed on the senate and on it's 2nd reading?? how bout a 2 painful peso for just an 'hi'.. wow!!! that hurts!!!

Hi, do you mind me asking, how much is 2 pesos?
Here in the UK, the average charge for a text message is 12pence, which is the equivalent of around 20cents (in US currency - please correct me if I am wrong). I think this is way too expensive! If it is just one word, or a whole sentence, this is the charge, up to a certain amount of characters (let's call it 200 characters) then when you go over 200 hundred characters, they charge you ANOTHER 12pence... what a rip off!

2 pesos is approx 4c(US). currently, we are charged 1 peso per text message (160 characters).
our government is working on raising the charge 2 pesos to "raise funds" because they are simply unable to do something about collecting taxes from tax evaders (who are usually friends or relatives of our government officials).

hi..two pesos here in our country is really "a great amount.. and it's a huge loss".. counting the fact that not everyone here can earn that amount.. we love texting.. so much! but increasing it? whoaw.. whatta mess! it's a nice project of the government though.. but, it will just go on the pockets of many crocodile politicians here! they sucks! they make our life miserable..
