Yerk!!! I won't ever do such thing. That is one of the most disgusting thing in the world. Plus, it's unhygenic too.

oh no i have never shared my toothbrush and i will never ever share my toothbrush. its just something so personal, and just imagining that im using a toothbrush that has been in someone elses mouth is an idea that simply repulses me. this is a matter of personal hygiene after all

I've shared a couple of times recently... and nothing bad happen:)...
there is also a little bit of hypocrisy related to this... I mean, we like kissing and fooling around, and we like the taste of someone else's tongue in our mouth, right?:D (not everybody's tongue trough:P)... and o the other hand it's hard for us to share a toothbrush?
Is it a little bit of hypocrisy around this? or am I talking just to talk?:)

I agree with you on that one - if we can handle someone else's tongue in our mouth, then we can handle sharing our toothbrush with that person, surely... and as for other things that some people choose to put it their mouths (which I won't mention...) I'm sure a toothbrush is fine :o)

The following things should NEVER be shared with others: Towel and toothbrush. The reason: it's one of the most common ways to contract or infect with diseases or any disorders you might have or the one you are sharing with has.

Sharing your toothbrush is one thing that nobody should do. It does not matter how close you are with the person you are sharing with. The mouth has so much bacteria that this is a good way to get sick and get things such as gum disease. Not something I would recommend...that's for sure.
cheers,

hi, out of hyginic basics I don't ever share my toothbrush with any one!! and it's not only that I fear getting infections from others, but also fearing that I might transfer diseases to them..
so it's a bilateral equation :)
let every one has his own toothbrush!

I try not to share my toothbrush at all, but when it comes to my boyfriend,it is different for me. Of course we do have our own toothbrushes, but if we're staying out for the night or something and he's forgotten his toothbrush, I'll let hiim use mine. It doesn't freak me out because of course, I have been 'intimate' with him in other ways... and I think it would be more disgusting for him to go without brushing his teeth than to borrow my toothbrush :o)
Anyone besides him though, will have to go and buy another toothbrush!

Absolutely not!
Apart from clearly being unhygienic, I truly feel that such has perhaps some serious health repercussions, which I would obviously want to avoid.
Naturally, thus, I would not even dare attempt to tinker with the potentially dangerous idea of lending my own toothbrush.
After all, as the oft-used saying aptly suggests, an ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure.

No way. I dont share anybodys tooth brush. If i forget to pack it, i put the tooth paste on my index finger and brush. Afterall its only for one day. If i have access to Neem tree, i use its stick as a brush. By the way Neem has wonderful medicinal value. I feel YUKK using someones tooth brush.
