is this good to use more than one antivirus software in system ????

Running 2 virus scanners is overkill. I'd choose one of them and uninstall the other.
Antivirus programs and firewalls will still slow down your system, but with 1 gb ram your pc should be able to run without problems.
If you get tired of being afraid of computer viruses you might consider installing a linux system in stead of a Microsoft Windows system. Computer virus is a Microsoft Windows problem.
I'm currently using Ubuntu linux. It's free and very user friendly.

well.. having 1 anti-virus already slows down your system since they are designed to run continuously in your system. and having 2 anti-virus softwares makes it even slower. and the worst part is the fact that anti-viruses are not designed to run with each other. running 2 AVs in your computer complicates your system, drivers "may" run over each other, and "can" crash your system. i suggest you only use 1, whichever you prefer is best. although i have biased info preferring norton products..

Some time ago I was told definitely not that having two different programs on your computer that they will fight with each other so to speak but I do remember when I asked that question I got a very quick no don't do it.... :(
