they say that feng shui is the art of placement. when we have our house constructed, i tried to comply, as much as possible, with the principles of feng shui. i've been reading some books on it and i even surfed the internet for some practical tips. i like feng shui principles because it helps in the proper placement of the furniture, of the aquarium, the toilet and the placement of the doors. but sometimes because of limited space in my house, i find it hard to comply with its rules. but i must admit, i am afraid of placing my household items the wrong way for fear that bad luck will strike. some books are also hard to understand. though i would like to consult feng shui masters for professional help, i am afraid that the genuine ones charge excessively. can anyone tell me if they have tried hiring a professional feng shui master and have experienced fortune knocking on their doors?

feng shui is an art of placement. so if you have a house, the arrangement of furnitures, the placement of the kitchen, mastersbedroom and bathrooms do have an effect on the overall fortunes that the owner will experience. feng shui does make sense. like they do advise you to move your furnitures to a spot where it will not block your main door. i say that it is practical and wise because it advises one to have a harmony int he arrangement of the house, where one stays most of the time. you wouldn't want to have clutter around the house as it will make movement inside constrained. that's a basic feng shui advice you will find in msot feng shui books
