I have AVG free anti-virus software. Of course it is not only good software but also serve my purpose but it serve purpose of basic need as anti-virus but it does not useful with regard to "spyware" etc., AVG charge extra in order to have them. Their charges seems to be somewhat costly. I need to have free anti-virus software with all the facilities free. Would you kindly suggest me free and the best anti-virus software, if available.

Kaspersky.
I've used AVG I had nothing but problems, I also read things I didn't like the sound of about it.
So I bought kaspersky, after using norton for ages.

There is a free, cut-down version called AOL Active Virus Shield. It omits HTML and memory monitoring, as well as the ability of the commercial Kaspersky to create rescue disks; but it is the same engine, with the same hourly updates. Rather than monitoring only memory, and requiring periodic full scans, it asks for permission to perform an initial full scan after installation, then scans only new and changed files as they are written to the hard drive (you can still do a full scan whenever you want to, or scan individual files and folders on-demand) It also hides its driver, to help prevent termination by hostile agents. Get it here: http://www.activevirusshield.com/antivirus/freeav/index.adp?
By the way, I suggest you use an e-mail account other than your primary one to activate. The EULA does reserve AOL the right to spam you. Hope this helps!

i suggest you get an antispyware product like arovax shield or spyware terminator. it is because no antivirus is complete in itself, so it is better you have both so that u are protected well. u may get some help from my blog.
