do you eat your meal with hot chili? is it common in your country? in the Philippines, there is this region (Bicol Region/Region 5)where hot chili is very popular..Most people in this place seem to enjoy eating their meal with hot chili...i wanted to try it but my tolerance is low. how would you increase your tolerance to hot chili?

yes i really enjoy putting bird's eye chili peppers on my food. i like to put it in my noodle soup the best as i miss the hot korean and thai noodle soup. but since i don't always have an access to those kind of food, chili peppers are the way to go to reminisce it with my taste buds. i put chili on my condiments to make me eat more. it makes my appetite larger which is great! i guess i am a great fan of chili peppers. :)

very often. i love hot chilli with my food. i grew up in region 4 but i spent a few years in region 10 and 11 as well as 7 and 8 so i had the hang of eating hot foods. bicol express is one of my favorites. before, i could not tolerate eating anything "hot". but because i was exposed to different foods in different regions, i learned to eat hot food. in indonesia, even the fired rice and some fruit desserts have chilli in it. :) try small servings first, a couple of spoonfuls... just to make you familiarize with the taste. you can also try any dish with coconut milk... it sometimes makes the hot flavor taste subdued. :)

HHi. Hot chilli we have in a couple of our dishes, this food is not common in my country, but is widely liked among different cultures here. My husband, our son and I enjoy it, we have it on our tortillas and our nachos meat...

I love to eat chilli. My grandma and mum can make really good belacan chilli. Not sure if you know what is belacan but its some kind of dried shrimp paste. Practice makes perfect. I never eat anything with chilli when I was young and God knows when I started and I eat really hot stuffs. My auntie once ate so much hot stuff that she got really sick with piles or something. Hahaha... she is the best chilli eater in the family. I hate raw chilli. I like processed ones.
