I have two blogs hosted on blogger, but have been looking into the possibility of either starting another on Typepad or moving mine there. Which is the better blogging platform - both considering ease of use, and traffic? I like some things about Blogger and I also like some things about Typepad. Any suggestions?

typepad is much ahead over blogger as far as functionality, maintenance, spam fighting, tools, design, publishing interface are concerned. customization is possible, but complicated. it's good for those who just want a blog that works without protesting too much over how it looks. however, typepad plus and pro do a better job than most blog sofware at allowing you to configure layout options without having to go into the templates.
blogger is free hosted blogging tool. the major drawback in blogger is the lack of post categorization. you need to know html and css to make custom changes to the templates provided. unlike some of the complex hosted services, blogger does not make customization easy, though it does provide sme attractive skins to choose from. for beginners, it's a good platform. Thanks.
