Internet Should be Cost Free ?

I think the use of Internet should be free of cost because internet is providing such great resources for students, researchers and for all professionals it will only help all of us to grow more knowledge and give it back to the society

that would be nice! But free, don't think so...maybe lower price ...but I think the company still need money to maintain their equipment.

I can be one thing after few years we will use the internet free of cost and with much more facilities and bandwidth

I don't think that we'll ever see the service being free! It's certainly getting more and more reasonable and more people are now able to afford internet service, but realistically there has to be some charge in order to maintain the equipment needed to support the internet. I agree that the use of the internet is a great asset to students, professionals, researchers, and the common man- it is certainly helping to develop the world. But it will never be free. If you think of it that way, then someone else will say: computers should be free for everyone... and electricity to run the computers should be free for everyone... We live in a civilized society where nothing is free!

Yeah truly said,but the increasing competition among the internet providers we can expect the cost of internet to be decreasing in the near future.Also with the invention of wi-fi and wi-max technologies the cost of internet hopefully becomes cheaper and much more within the reach of common man.

It is always help to develop our society if the means of communications reaches to masses and this can be happen only when this means become cheap or free of cost, internet I say must be given free of cost in every country, we must all raise our voices towards it

I would rather have the internet not really cost free since service and speed might be affected. I would rather have it become competitive and have their costs become minimal.
