DO you like to keep your cellphone personal

i don't really have anything that private on my phone but I don't ever delete texts til the memory is full.
Whenever someone picks up my phone though and starts pressing buttons I get so anxious. It is just something that unnerves me and as my reactions are so fast people probably think my phone is full of bad things or naughty things.
I think I am generally quite a closed person. I am very selective with what I share with people and for this reason have very few "close friends".
I know some people don't care who checks their phone. Even unchecked messages but a phone is something I feel shoudl be treated like someone diary!
Are you the same or do you let your partner, family, kids, whoever use your cellphone without any hesitation?

I'm really possessive with all my belongings including my mobile phone. My friends know what I'm like so they would only ask to use it if it was really important and they wouldn't dare look through it lol!! There's nothing bad on it - I do have a friend who from time to time sends me dodgy videos but I delete them pretty quickly anyway. I'm just not comfortable with people looking through my things. Actually I had a big falling out with someone when I was out a couple of weeks ago because they asked if I had a pen and immediately picked up my bag and started looking through it!! Of course I went mental. It wasn't even a friend either - just an acquaintance. So rude!!

When I was on holiday I was sharing a villa with my two friends, both guys, and walked in the lounge to find one of them riffling through my bag for the sunscreen and the other one standing going "no dont go in her bag, she'll kill you!"
I did literally kill him. It wasn't like I was away, I was upstairs getting changed and I am sure he didn't need to use MY sunscreen then and there. I went mental.
Do you know Stiletto, I know you might not want to think this but me and you are actually very much alike. Well from what I know about you.

No way would anyone pick up my phone - I would probably kill them! LOL! OK - not seriously - but I value my privacy very highly. Even my partner would never dream of checking my phone, opening my mail, or looking in my handbag, I just think some things should remain our own and no one elses. Its' called having respect for other peoples' personal space. I wouldn't read anyone else's diary or look at their phone - so i wouldn't want it done to me eihter.

Thank you. I was expecting responses saying i must be guilty if i have something to hide but sharing involintarily is just something that makes me anxious.

yeas... i like to my cell phone personal...very personal... i just dont like anybody just picking up my fon and start doing some crazy n silly things with it... if u want to even touch ma cell..
just dont read any sms, dont c any pic or video, and dont change any settings... rest is still tolerable...
