Would you scare an animal?

Have you ever heard of fainting goats? Last night on Conan, a guy was talking about the fainting goats that he has on his farm. Turns out fainting goats don't do that fake stage fainting like you'd see in the movies. Instead they sort of freeze up and fall over. Once I saw a person scare a fainting goat, just to be mean, and the poor thing got so upset it almost ran into a fence before passing out. Very sad. Do you think it's funny or right to scare an animal for sport? What would you say if your friend did this kind of thing in front of you?
