I have two myself. One personal - for real life friends, & people I knew for a long time on the internet. The other is is for talent, independent musicians in my area where I gather music for a friend of mine in Idaho to play on his internet radio station. This 'other one' I also use for people I don't know.

Oh - I also know someone who has FOUR myspace profiles, because of the limitations on the number of songs he was able to upload to his music profile.

It was probably customized with some fancy background & layouts. Some people can add their layouts to get what they want, & others cannot. The best thing about buying an account is that it saves from having to sign up yourself, & wait for that verification email, & then building it up from scratch.

I don't know that it's necessarily crazy to buy it on Ebay. I assume the one that was sold was either customized in an attractive way that the buyer didn't know how to do him or herself (or didn't have the time to go to the trouble) and/or it may have been important to them that they have whatever username it was for whatever reason. It isn't something I would do, however.
Anyway, I have two myspace accounts, one for personal purposes, and one for my dance company! I may or may not end up with a third one for another enterprise that I am starting (I like to keep my personal and professional endeavors separated), but for right now, two is more than plenty! =)

I have only one for myself.
But I`m curious to know how do you sell your account and who pay for that.

Only one Myspace for me. Not a major site for me. I blog about the things I do for money and other things. How do you sell something that is free to join? That baffles me. When you have the one for people you don't know and then they become friends do you send them over to the other friends site? That is a bit more that I am willing to do. I have not met any bad folks on myspace. Good luck handling that many!

I have one. There is only one me, so why have more than one. How do you sell a myspace on ebay? Thats crazy. If someone wanted a myspace don't they know they can get one...FREE! Whoever bought it wasn't to smart, and I'd like some of their money cause obviously they've got plenty to spare!

I have just 1 because I don't really want to bother geting a 2nd one. I'd rather be able to keep track of everything with one account but if people want multiple accounts, there's nothing wrong with that.
That's just me though as I perfer to do so that way. That is cool to use it for stuff like clothing lines or anything like that though. I never would have thought of that.

Ive only got one. With about 415 friends. Admittedly i dont know half of them but i have met many people in person through myspace and am quite addicted to it.
Personally I think having more than one personal myspace account is foolish. What is the need? Dont people like to mix business with pleasure these days?
Fair enough if you have one for yourself and one for your band/business/group but more than one for yourself seems un-neccesary dont you think?
