Do you believe that you were a cat in a former life?

Do you think you would have lived a previous life as a cat? Or, do you wish you had? Do you think cats can be reincarnated as humans, or would that be a step down?

I don't think that there is such a thing as changing species from one life to the next. A cat in this life, for example, would not become a dog or even a human in the next. A cat is a cat and will always be one. Same thing goes for any other species. Truth be told, I would not wish to become a cat, ever. Too much cruelty in this world. A lot of humans still don't get it. But I think that a cat becoming a human is a step down and fortunately, things like this just don't happen!

So true! And, until mankind (or womankind) embraces his animal brethren as equals, I too will avoid the next life cat scenario. Not a pleasant trip. At least as a human, I can dictate where I live. Cats don't often have that option.

Maybe... I like to eat fish a lot and to chase things.

Anything to human is a step down,lol. I don't think I was a cat,more likely, a grumpy dog.

If I was anything in a previous life I would think it was a cat. I often say that I must have once been a cat. I have such a big love for them. I love all animals but cats are my favorite.

As well, I have a weird knack for reading my cats mind. Not his actual thoughts. Just what he needs, when he needs it. Maybe that's because I'm his cat mommy! LOL! But, if I had been anything, it probably would have been a cat in an imperial palace somewhere being pampered for the princess I truly am. That does not resemble my real life in any way. On most days I'm lucky to get my hair combed before having to run around after a non-stop kid dynamo. Maybe my cat training has helped me with that too. Who knows.

My friend does. She can purr just like a cat. I've even heard her do it in her sleep. The subject came up around her mother once. Her mom told me when my friend was three she announced that she wanted to be a cat when she grows up. ::shrug:: Who knows? Though, I do personally think that from a cats point of view, being reincarnated as a human would be a step down ;)
