I love my dog as if he were my own child. Do you feel the same for your pet and are willing to give so much for the welfare of your pet?

My dog and I are very attached to each other. I've even purchased pet insurance for her. As a single woman, whose children are now on their own, my dog keeps me occupied. She is a 9 month old Jack Russell terrier.
I am really busy training her now. I want to eventually use her as a therapy dog.

Our dog is like a member of the family. In fact my parents cannot go away for long periods of time because they are worried that our dog might miss them (I think it's the other way around). He (the dog) even thinks he is my mother's child and would respond when called "baby"....lol. His name is sergio by the way.

I know exactly how your parents feel. I cannot stay away long without my dog. I always worry that he (Wolf) may feel so depressed being alone so one solution is I try to bring him along in all my errands whenever possible. He seems to appreciate it a lot and so do I. Thank you for sharing.

Like you I also love my pet dog since I am the one who take care of her since birth. Now my dog is 5 years old already. I am the one who take her to a bath every weekend since that is the only time I dont have work.
