What was the worst thing that happened to you this week?

welcome. i maybe forgetting something..my bf's had a car accident last week, all minor..and i was not there coz i have training i'm worried though..he only had a flu right now..hehe

Thanks for the update! I'm so glad to hear that she pulled through, she and you have been in my thoughts since I saw your original post here. It sounds like you are being a really good friend to her, and she is lucky to have you.

Thank you, lecanis. This girl has also stayed with me during my ups and downs. Once she gets fully well, i will let her join mylot so she can air out her emotions here..ahahah. Thank you again.

Just today, the doctors advised her to go home and take a rest. She is suffering from a terrible depression and everytime I try to talk to her, she just stares at me and nods her head. Im giving her more time to adjust. Im just glad she is okay.

Oh that is awful, hopefully she will puttl through ok....lets all hope and think positive for her...

If only i tried harder to convince her or if only i was with her as she went through the process..i have been thinking about so many what if's. You have to consult an expert about this, lecanis..please update me with your consultations ok, i will also ask my relatives in the medical field about this..

Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be so vague. I am working with a specialist on my Meniere's disease, and I went to see him just yesterday. So it's not that I'm not getting it treated, but simply that there is no cure. I'm going to be trying some new treatments out since my situation seems to have worsened, and then after that mostly my options are surgical, but since there are no guarantees even with surgery, and many of the surgeries cause hearing loss (which I have to some extent anyway) it's a tricky decision on whether or when or which one to have done! Sorry to have worried you... I didn't mean to imply that I wasn't getting treatment for the situation, it's just that it's a very scary thing for me because there is no real cure and it's a very debilitating disease. I do hope that things get better for you and your friend, and thank you so much for your concern in my situation! I will keep both you and her in my thoughts!

Hello again, blackbriar. :) I always get sad when i hear stories like that about cats, i love my cats also and i treat like them humans also. I will pray for your cat also, sometimes our cats can be such children, eating away anything they can. PLease update me with whatever the vet says. :(

Adoption is a good option. Unfortunately, it has never been an option for my friend. Her parents are very strict and there is that thing about losing inheritance and losing the family connection once she decides to do something foolish which she thinks is synonymous to having a baby whose father decides to abandon her.Im not really fond of her parents but i was also thinking that no matter how strict your parents can get, they will always understand. right? :(
