Alright...here goes...remember, there's twelve of them in my house: Vixie, Missy, Prance, Nemo, Angel, Fluffy, LittleBit, Midnight, Muffin, FraidyCat, Little One, and Nipper. There's a story behind each and every name, but I think that would take up way too much room here. LOL

We have Princess Meow (named by my daughter when she was 2) but we call her Princess Pooh. Next one is Mea, also called Mea Mouse, Mama Mea, or Mea Monster, depending on her attitude. Our next one is only 7 weeks old and we are thinking of Pumpkin, she is a long hair Tortoise Shell Manx (no tail) with beautiful pumpkin colors. Our other cats are all black.

We are looking for a nickname for her. The Princess Pooh is a black Himalayan and she never cleans herself so there is always "pooh" stuck to her! Its gross but also funny hence the nickname Princess Pooh.
One of our kittens brothers we nicknamed Brother Bear, the other one is Tails (he is the only one with a tail as they are Manx, they typically have no tail).

I've had number of cats in my life. Punkin because i got her at Halloween. April because I got her at April. Aprils sons name was Simon because he was part Siamese. Max short for maxwell, Buddy for no reason. Whiskers, and last cat I've had was named snow because she was all white.

I have an all white cat , and he doesn't stay super clean . And you should see him when it rains, he drags threw the mud, and brush and whatever. He hates to be bathed so sometimes he stays dirty until he eventually cleans himself.

I have 3 cats. The oldest one which is a calico is named Pumpkin. The 2nd oldest is Sliver. She was named by the lady I used to work with when she was rescued as a kitten. She is silver color and she always transposed the l and the i in the name, so we called her sliver instead of silver. My youngest cat , his name is Trapper. He was a feral kitten that had to be trapped in a huge field so he wouldn't be left to fend for himself or die. Since he was trapped- I named him Trapper. :)

Christina, thanks for your stories about your cats. I just seem to smile when I read about cats. Trapper-good name for that cat! Sliver, I like that to. And may I say thank you for taking a rescued kitten! We did to, and she turned out to be such a loving, funny, cat. She is calico. Do all cats sleep with their heads up? LOL.

I have seven cats but we do not call all of them by their real names. They are Kiki who we call The Kikers, Koko who we call Joe or Bubba he just looks like a Bubba, then there is Kisha who we cal Dee Dee, Precious who we call Pooh Bear. We have Cherib who we call Larry, Milo who we call Smilin, and Mira who we call Yummers. I could tell you how and why all these names came about but I would have a pretty long answer. I know it is silly but these are the names.

My cat was called Gink, from one of my favourite childhood stories "Dorie and the magic basket", think.
Only different was that, in the book, Gink was a black cat own by a young witch.
My cat was Grey with some markings.
She ran aways now. Ill get another cat one day though.
