Finally got to see Pirates 3 today

I have heard that Pirates 3 was too long, I have heard that it goes off topic, I have heard it's not as good as the others. That's all wrong. I enjoyed Pirates, even if it was around 2 1/2 hours. Any movie can have scenes that people wanted or didn't want (that's why there are deleted scenes and alternate endings on dvds). This movie was as good, and brought the dead man's chest story to a great end. Jack, in his usual mental state, takes us on a journey into the pirate infested seas. They have done movies from graphic novels (comics), from software, and with this disney does one based on an amusement ride. It is great the way they took the theme and made a great comedy action drama movie. It is safe for teens to watch, not too cerebral and to adult, but some lines get through that are intended for more mature audiences. But mostly it is a fun afternoon. It is a good way to spend a summer day in an air conditioned theater.
