hi welcome to mylot What you have to do is make 100 responses. You will get a star based on the number of plus and minus responses your work gets from the mylot community. The stars are graded 1 to 10 with 10 being the highest. This is why i am thankful to all my lovely friends blessed be

i think it is only down to the fact that someone gives us negative ratings. Thetre are a small number of malitious mylot users who go round doing this sort of thing. Because they have organised themselves they can get friends to do it for them as well, not nice people but i guess they need cyber conflict in their otherwise empty life

there is a glitch again so quite a few people are double posting today, no worries. Ok the star is your mylot reputation. You get one when you have made 100 posts and it is worked out from an average of all the plus or minus ratings your responses get. The stars have different numbers and coulors. 1 is the lowest meaning 10 percent or less of your responses have received a plus rating while 10 is the highest, whereby 95 percent of your responses have recieved a plus rating. Mine is astill 95 percent, but for 24 hours rose to a blue star. Now either it was another mylot glitch or someone somewhere in this wonderful place didnt like me an d gave me a negative. the worst of it is, if i had never had it, i wouldnt have missed it. Now it feels like a kick in the teeth and hurts a bit if im honest, because it means someone doesnt like me. I would rather thrash it out in debate than go round giving off negative ratings
