Would you rather have quick short trips on an airplane or do you enjoy long scenic road trips or in a luxury cruiser? Come to think of it..., Getting to the destination is part of the fun and sometimes, a quick plane ride might be more boring. Hehe. just a thought. What dya think?

Most times I just want to get there, and the sooner the better. So it's the airplane for me.

Well, for me it depends on the situation as to where I am planning on going, and the time I have to get there, cost, etc. For me it would seem silly to Fly somewhere I can get to in less that 8 hrs. This is just me. Then I prefer to be in a Car being in control of where you Stop, etc. But when traveling long distances like I am going to be doing in September when I fly from Seattle to New Jersey, honestly, there is no way I would do it any other way. It would take like 4 days to drive it at least, and it would be just as expensive. So flying was the easy way out there. It will be interesting to be on a plane this long though. My other trips I have taken on a plane have been shorter ones so far.

An Aeroplane - An Aeroplane - I prefer to travel by car over travel by plane.
yeah, i too agree with you. I will always prefer to travel by car which gives me the luxury of enjoying the scenic beauty which I will never experience by a flight. Then, the car is at my command. I can stop it wherever I want to. It is especially called for when I find a scenic beauty and feel like having a better and longer view of it. This would never be possible with airplane.

I do not travel much at all, but I would imagine it would all depend on how many times I had taken that route, whether or not I wanted to check out the scenery, and how much time I had to play around with. I know that when I am riding in a car, I like to look out at the beauty of the land and daydream, but when I am in a hurry or have seen it several times before, I tend to take it for granted.

I would really prefer long trip through a luxury cruiser. I don't really like to fly and have this fear of flying. So given the choice, I would even prefer walking to flying. LOL!

I prefer to in a car because you can see what going on and see the senery and besides that you can talk, listen to the radio and sing if you want. :)

I really like a long train journey where I can sit back and enjoy the view from the window during the day. By night it is lovely to bed down in a comfortable sleeping compartment. I always sleep soundly on trains. I noise of the train gently moving along makes me feel nice and relaxed. I know that in the morning I will be nearer or I may even have reached my destination. Inter railing around Europe for a month is great fun. The USA also has a wonderful train system. Australia has some lovely, long routes. Long bus rides can be enjoyable if the scenery is good and it is a comfortable journey. However it can be nightmare if the road is especially bumpy and the bus of a very poor standard. I have had some funny bus journeys. In Samoa the bus got full so people began to sit on each other's laps. In Sumatra there just wasn't any leg room. It can be better to travel by private car. Then you have the flexibility about where you stop. I often travel by plane but I don't like missing out all of the scenery. I do it when I am going somewhere outside Europe or I am short of time. One plane journey I did in the Maldives was superb. I flew in a small jet. Out of the window I got a wonderful view over all the tiny islands in the deep blue sea. Wow!

I think it would depend on the length of the trip...if it's a really long, long trip, plane would be best I think, especially if it were a trip say to New Zealand or Australia (both places I would love to go to). But for most trips I think basking in a nice long road trip along scenic routes would sound great to me...

I feel bored having a long trip as i would like to reach my destination fast and accomplish necessary things immediately. "Time is gold", i don't want to spend much time on travel. Maybe if i am with my love one and it is a planned travel for both of us, to keep the bonding, say a romantic trip there will be no room for boringness.

if time doesn't matter, i mean if you are not in a hurry, cuse i think people just choose to be in that short trip because time disagree with their many plans - meaning they cannot do all of those plans if they will have ridden in a long trip..so they choose to pay for that expensive trip.. but if there is no time pressure(more on business or work trips) then i will really choose the long trip especially if i have my kids with me... but i think when you are all alone you may think which to choose in a very long time, cause if you took the long one, it will be a boring trip and your saliva will just dry up, or if he tok the short trip then he will be able to enjoy the pace more and not be bored much.. but for me alone or not..go!!go!!Go!!for the long trip!!^^i love seeing the scenes... the beautiful scenes.. thanks...
