Here are some of the most essential ingredients that must go into my burger.
I must have onions. Freshly sliced ones are ood. They add this 'sharp' taste to the burger. Also, I find the taste of onions very appealing.
I also like mushrooms. These should be sliced and added to the burger. It goes really well with cheese.
Ah, and then there's cheese. Sliced cheddar cheese is great when placed on top of a beef patty. I also enjoy melted cheese. I like to have a generous helping of melted cheese that can be seen ozzing out of the burger. Yummy!
Then there's also lettuce. Lots of freshly cut lettuce adds a distinctive crunch to my burger that's definitely welcome!

I'm getting hungary now- lucky I'm having a burger for lunch. The oozing cheese sounds great, though I dont like mushrooms, but otherwise it sounds great. Thanks for responding.

I like advocado, mustard, fried onions, cheese (most often swiss on burgers), and tons of pickles!

I like it all, cheese, lettuce, onion, mayo, tomato, pickle. Then if I am in the mood for it, sometimes some bacon or mushrooms, grilled onions but that's a whole different burger.

Oh I'm pretty boring when it comes to my hamburgers. I usually don't add cheese because of the extra calories and I usually can't taste the cheese anyway unless I add several slices. I usually just add ketchup to my hamburger. I do like to have my hamburger bun toasted on the grill. I think it taste so much better that way.

I normally go for a plain burger, as boring as it sounds! Usually, the most I will put on there is cheese - it's because I like my burger to stay dry and crispy, and sauces tend to make them go soggy, and salad tends to make too much of a mess... However, a new addition to the burger family has totally revolutionized my ideas about this - the Dark Whopper from Burger King - one of the messiest burgers in the history of the world, and the 'dark mayo' is amazing! I seriously urge you to try it if you haven't already! :o)

I have to have 2 slices of cheese, lettuce, tomatoe, onion, pickles, ketchup, and mayonaise. I mean I will eat them with less but this makes the best burgers!
