Internet marketing strategies--do you have any?

Okay, so I'm not looking for you to start dropping url's here. I have no real interest in becoming your affiliate so that you wallet gets fatter, and I get poorer.
Nope, I'm looking for advice, venues, programs, methods, how to find mentors, good forums, any suggestions you have to help a beginning online marketer of mylot, additional mlm programs, long-term investment programs, and online stores...
so let's hear it... Where does a newbie with only a modest website, several affiliates and no budget begin?

My internet marketing strategies are to involve yourself with a product that interest you! Some of my involvement in promoting a product is eco-friendly in nature. I believe in this type of product and have passion in "spreading the word". The approach is involves time more than anything. And I might not get rich quick, but my passion and time makes the efforts worthwhile. Another area of interest is my health...so I am always looking for products, ideas, and knowledge to promote this agenda.
