It is recommended that one should take a multivitamin a day for optimum health. In these days of GM foods and pesticide laden farm produce,I donot think we get all the nutrients we are supposed to get.so I do take a multivitamin everyday. But is it really good than a proper diet? What do you think?

i dont take multivitamins every day but i have a drink powder i use with water which is filled with vitamins and minerals and use flaxseeds and iron as well as i do a lot of exercise and so these all help with energy i have a good diet as well but i dont think the extra vitamins are better than having a good diet sometimes we dont get enough vitamins and minerals so its a good idea anyway to take some kind of multivitamins and anyway most food after its been cooked isnt really that nutritious so its hard to keep a balanced diet

I agree with you, mailboxmoney.Afterall, fresh veggies do lose their nutrients with prolonged freezing.
