You really meet the wrong people then. I read every day. I work in a library and I am crazy about books and reading books. But also at my work I do meet people that never read. It is of all times and places.

I read instructional/teaching books a lot but I love a good novel. I mainly watch TV while I am doing my cross stitch and I am on here a lot but I still make sure to take plenty of time to read books. I don't think that TV or internet will ever completely replace books.

I love to read! I always have a good book that I'm reading, and when I'm done with it I have more waiting in line to be started! Reading is a great way to "escape" and relax after a long day or when there is nothing else to do. I don't know how people can sit in waiting rooms for appointments or at an airport without having a good book to read. It's true that the internet and TV have taken the place of books for many people, and I think that's sad. Every child should learn to appreciate the pleasure of sitting down with a good book.

Oh I love to read. I read books all the time; in fact I would prefer to read than watch t.v...most of the time. Books can open up a journey through the imagination so much better than television shows or movies can. I love reading sooo much!
