in my last discussion it was made clear that some people are against baby contests. I personally am neutral. i see why ppl dont like them and i see why ppl do. i recently had my baby in one for the fact that i was shopping at the same place it was being held and i thought it would be fun and all entry fees went to charity. But i have been judged for it. Although i see the other side and why people don't like them i don't feel like i should be criticized for entering into one. i think this is a good debate and would like to know what others think for and against.

I personally wouldn't do it. If the proceeds are going to charitable causes that might be different, but I would just feel so weird making any sort of money off my baby. I've heard that some put that money away for college, but it just still feels weird. To me, it'd feel like I'm making the baby work or do something just to get the money...it just doesn't sit right with me.
I wouldn't criticize anyone for doing so though, everyone has their reasons. It really depends on the parents and it's no one else's business, don't let anyone else let you think otherwise.
