We are middle dwellers. Have never been ones to sit up front, when the children were smaller we sat in the back so that we could make a quiet exit if needs arose due to them.
We do not socialize at all DURING Church so we do it afterwards.
We always have a nice dinner with our Priest and several friends.

Hi, you've got a very beautiful name! Is it your real name? I really like the meaning of it as well - modest, modesty, humility, humble, etc. (Sorry! I'm getting carried away!) Just thaught to let you know that I like your name. Over and out.

I'm not a churchgoer anymore, but when I did go to church, I always sat in the back. And I never wanted to hang around afterwards either. As a child, I was raised a Catholic, and my mom always wanted to sit as close to the front as possible. I hate the feeling of people staring at me from behind me. You feel like they're looking down on you or something. I grew up really poor (still am), and you have the more well-off people looking down at you like you're a bug. Happens around here where I live, too.
