I was wondering... how may of you, cat owners, have sibling cats? do they look alike? Or are they different like mine?
Do they like to do stuff together such playing, eating, sleeping? Mine used to do a lot of stuff together when they were little, now they're more independent.

Hi Katagiri,
My hubby and I are the proud owners of 5 cats...with 4 of them being related. The older two are half brother and sister to the two ginger marmalade twins. We notice that the twins are more bonded. The one twin is considerably larger than his little brother and he is very protective of him. Although they are all under a year so things may change.
Our oldest one Nexus( just around a year) does appear to feel like an outsider with the other four and we suspect it is because they were all raised together in a barn before coming home with us. The four siblings are always getting into mischief, lying together, planning sneak attacks and enjoying what seems to be a tight bond. Nexus does play with them upon occasion but appears to be content with a more solitary bond with us. I know she is sometimes overwhelmed by the level of activity with the other 4, but overall they seem like one big, happy family. They clean each other and snuggle up 4 and 5 in a bundle and that does include Nexus. They are great fun and add a lot to our quality of life!

Yes, I have half sisters, same mother different dad and a different litter, 1 year apart. They love each other so much, groom each other play and sleep. Their personalities are so different though its funny, one is exactly like her mum and the other is like her dad.

At one time I had a brother/sister pair and they were of different coloring but after the male passed away every time I saw the female out of the corner of my eye I thought it was her brother because they were so similar in other areas.
They did have a special bond versus the other cats. But not every sibling pairs treat each other like that. At times I have known other siblings that didn't get along when they were adults.

I have a mommy cat (Shadoe) and two of her babies (Button and Socks). Mommy really doesn't want anything to do with the babies anymore, my other cat Dizzi (who is normally a nastly little witch) loves to let them curl up with her and pretend to nurse. LOL It is funny to watch. The two babies pretty much hang out together. Socks is black with very little white on him (except for his feet) and Button is also black with some more white on her and she is fluffy. She has long hair unlike her mother. I made the mistake when they were babies of letting them lay on my desk while I am at the computer, now they do it all the time and they are no longer little. mahmah
