Oh My Gosh! He Called Me!

For those who have no idea what I'm talking about, reference this conversation: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1131131.aspx regarding my dad not ever communicating with me. He actually called me, but now he has my brother upset. He called me to tell me a letter for my brother had arrived at his house rather than calling my brother and asking him to come get it or even just telling him about it. Thing is, I just can't figure out why he doesn't drop it by my mom's for her to give to my brother or if he doesn't want to talk to my mom, he can just drop it in the mailbox. Instead, I have him dropping it in my best friend's mailbox since she lives close to him. He is one strange cookie.
