Afternoon everyone, i just want to pick your brains, my hair has finally got to the perfect length, however to get it dead straight it takes me up to an hour with the hair dryer, so am definately going out this week to buy a hair straightener iron, i have been looking at a few but there are so many makes and models to choose from, so could i possible ask for your opinion and which ones you think are the best. Many thanks in advance.

Infiniti by Conair seems to be a nice one. I have heard from different people that the ceramic straighteners are the best. Don't really know if that's true or not because I've never compared them. I think there are a couple of different ones that Conair makes too. They seem to be at good prices too.

Well mine are not overly expensive and they are from a Firm called GVC but I really can not remember where I got them from as I have had them over 2 Years now Do not get the low heat ones as they are not good at all

I have a hair straightener that also is a big rod curling iron. I wouldn't suggest that you get one that is both. The reason for this is because I burn myself many times while using it. I do like it because it is both an iron and straightener , but I would buy a straightener that has a protector on the outside so you don't burn yourself. If it were me, I would ask the salon which brand works best.
