If You Were to Be a Child Again, What Would You Do Differently?

If you could go back with all your memories and experiences intact, what would you do differently. Kowing all you know now, would you be a bit smarter, perhaps play less, make better friends, not allow yourself to get bullied in school, study harder, ... Just what would be different with you.

If that really happened,I'd like to say I shoul keep practicing the piano.I had piano classes when I was little. But I played the piano for about only two years and didn't go on.What a pity, right?

It is really unfortunate the chances we miss sometimes. I also had French classes for one year. I was very good but left it because I thought the teacher was to harsh and strict.

I think I would do certain things differently, everyone always says I was a very well behaved child, so my general behaviour wouldn't be too different. I guess I would concentrate harder on my studies, although the school I went to wasn't very good and not many people left there with the best of results, I might have stayed on at 6th form to do my A levels instead of going to the local college where it was too easy to meet gorgeous young men and end up dating guys more than I bothered to study. I would not have hitched up with my ex and wasted 15 years on him, he held me back quite a lot career wise, although I'm doing just fine now, I think I might have got a lot further if he hadn't been so insecure. I would have made more effort to keep in touch with some of the friends I lost touch with after leaving school and I certainly think I would have done way more exercise and kept up a sensible lifestyle as I started putting on weight in my late teens which continued until I was diagnosed with diabetes a year or so ago. If I had known that all back then, I would have ate more healthily and worked out more.

This is really a very exciting and comprehensive response. It seems you could really do a lot of things differently if given the chance again. It seems we all would. I believe this is by far the best response I have received for this discussion. Sorry to hear about the diabetes; wishing you better health in the years to come. And I must say again, I really like this response.

If I could go back and do it over again I would go back and do better in school. I would study more and actually do my homework every night. Then I would have applied to go to college and gotten a degree so I could have a good paying job right now.

Yeah, I would definately do better at school and play a little less. When I was a kid I played a lot and studied little. I hwould do things the other way round.

I think if I can keep my present knowledge to go back to my childhood, be sure I would be the smartest in the school. I can even go to the university when I was in the kindergarten. My parents should be proud of me:)

That would be really exciting. If you go to the university from kindergaten then everyone would be proud of you and you may even be in the guiness book of world records.
