Im the type of person that will do anything for anyone, and expect nothing in return, Its just me. People see this and some take advantage of this.
Are you like this (like me, or someone to take advantage of people like me)
If your like me, what can you do to stop being used? without changing who I am?

hello there, I am the same type of person as you are and I am proud to be the way I am. After all, this world needs self-motivated, selfless individuals who go ahead to help the needy people without expecting anything in return. But there is a thin line between being kind and being overly kind. You must be kind enough to help other people but also smart and wise not to let other people take unnecessary advantage of you. You can be the same way as you are and maintain your indentity with dignity if you do so. Man is gifted with the power of discretion that makes him different from animals. So it is in our interest to use it that way you can be kind without hurting people or their feelings and at the same time you feel pride in standing up for yourself.

anyone who is nasty or ignorant to me I do not help, but im so kind hearted, you mustve been really bad if I look at you in a manner like that. I am very forgiving as well. it just seems once the word is out there, people know! then they all come running to you to solve their problems, whether its a need of friendship or cash or anything else. but how many of them people will help you when you need it....not many :(

I have done loads of help of people even for the orphans for the convent I studied I organised a charity movie and all the funds collected was given to the convent. Never expect anything in return but want the people concerned to be happy. The nuns they loved me and I know a part of happy life is their blessings too though I am a Muslim and my religion Islam is my strength.

Oh yes - definatly.
I'm proud that I was known as a "safe house" in highschool and all of that but lord knows people took advantage.
I have been the type of person to help others no matter what since a very young age (I won a backpack full of stuff in 1st grade and I gave it to another kid that didn't have one for example). This was great but then the day came where I really really really needed someone and no one was there for me.
After that I'm careful on how I help people. I still offer and help but realize that this doesn't mean that someone will help me as well.
