I personally was horrified at this site. This couple is saying that if they don't raise $50,000 in 3 months they will abort their child. They are taking donations by paypal only and if you read the terms and conditions you will find the donations go to the hosting site to be held for them. What do you think? Would you donate?

This site sounds absolutely bogus. While yes it is nice to be financially stable when you have a child sometimes that's just not always going to happen. I know we sure didn't have $50,000 when we had our daughter much less the $10,000 they've already earned. I think this site is created by some jerks trying to pull at peoples heart strings to scam them out of some money. I don't think this is a real couple at all.

I totally agree with you. I don't think this is a real couple either. And I also found it odd that if you read the "terms and conditions" you'll see that you are actually sending the money to the hosting company to "hold for the couple for 3 months". hummmmm yeah ok sure. (insert eye roll here).

however you came across that site i have no idea lol. but no i would not donate to them and there are many reasons for that, here are a few:
1. i do not know these people, how do i know that it isn't just some guy who thought of a great idea to tug at the heart strings of others to get money out of them?
2. if they really are in this situation, then they should pay for their child, not ask others to pay for it for them.
3. if they really had their unborn childs intersts at heart, they would consider adoption as a viable option.
4. even the most poor of people in life can bring up children that weren't planned, you get by in life sometimes...
the list of reasons not to donate to these scroungers could go on forever lol.

This is just sick. Besides the fact that by the end of the 3 months it will be considered a late abortion of an at least 17 week old "fetus" that she will most likely have felt moving and kicking, many people raise whole families on less than $50,000 a year and these people are acting like it's just a small little nest egg to get them by. By the figures on their page, they've raised over $10,000 in a week! To me that's more than enough already to get them through this "difficult time" in their lives. The should take the $1000 they would be spending on the abortion and use it to buy baby supplies instead and act like responsible adults instead of expecting other people to do it for them.
No I wouldn't donate. No one is donating to me to help raise my children as much as I could use the extra help so I certainly won't help someone else that doesn't even seem to really want a child in the first place.
