Olive Oil Vs. Cooking Spray?

I like to use Olive oil for many dishes, including: pancakes, hamburgers, steaks, and even homemade french fries. (Freedom fries, excuse me.)
Sometimes I'll use cooking spray but I find that cooking spray tends to burn easily. It's good to spray it on a pan so that no food will stick, but I like the health benefits of olive oil much more than spray.

I never cook anything without my Pam. Pam has regular cooking spray, olive oil spray, organic olive oil spray, grilling spray AND baking spray. They have spray for everything and it's healthier than butter! I use the Organic Extra virgin Olive Oil on pretty much everything. I can't cook without it!

HA! It reminds me of spray paint. I'm really glad it's not flammable because I'll often spray it near an open flame. I always worry about that. Have you tried some of the flavored Pams? They come in butter-flavor and a few other ones. I haven't tried those yet.

Oh yeah. I like olive oil best on bread for flavor. It's not bad to add vinegar and olive oil to a salad dish. I think a little oregano will help, too. Have you ever tried olive oil on carrots? It tastes really good with vinegar along with a salad.

I use olive oil for everything, I mean literally everything. I love the taste of it and the health benefits.

Everything? Olive oil on cereal? LOL! I like to use it on so many things, I usually go through a 16 oz bottle every two weeks. Mathematically speaking, I think every ounce of oil equals a few more minutes spared from the ravages of heart disease.

If you use light olive oil, it's good. I don't mind the taste of olive oil so much tho, it makes them taste more like french bread.

They make olive oil sprays now. The ones I have tried have been really good too.

Oh yeah! Do you know if they still provide the health benefits of olive oil? One of the main reasons I use it is because it reduces risk of heart disease. I don't want to have a heart attack from all my great foods! I'd be pretty sad, but when you cook like I do, it's grand!

i feel that cooking spray is healthier because it is less greasy and healthier for you. However i feel that olive oil makes food more tasty
