Just when I thought it was the same old, same old everyday at work, we had a bit of excitement this week. Police pulled over a speeder (Of course he pulled over and stopped right over our gas tanks.), and when they searched his car, they found a gun, drugs, and a homemade bomb. This kid was 18 and said the homemade bomb had been in his vehicle for a long time. I work at a gas station/truck stop and of course we were busier then usual the next day with people stopping and wanting to know the whole story. Now I come from a small town, so this was big news for a few days. Would you go to visit a place you heard there had been a bomb found in a vehicle? Just to look and see where the excitement was? Or would you just wait for the newspaper to come out and find out from that. People were actually getting upset when we didn't know the kid's name or why he had all that stuff. I'll try to add a link to our local paper news story if I can.

Curiosity get's the best of people and since it happend in a place where nothing usually seems to go wrong, people wanted to know what the fuss was. Sure it's interesting, but like I mentioned it was curiosity.

Figures it is on the front page of our local paper, but the online edition of the paper does not even have it on there. If I find one, I'll put a link on it.
