What's happening to the photos and avatars?

May be it is because Mylot has limited the number of photos you can upload.They might have removed the ones that exceeded the limitation.

I will guess that it is just a glitch. The avatars and photos show the image that means "broken image" when I see them in my e-mail. I am sure you know the one I mean, it is like a photograph with a corner torn off. I notice it is not happening to everyone, but several of my friends have posted questions about both their avatars and their photographs. It will probably take a few days then will get ironed out. I notice especially the people with animated avatars are having this problem. With a site this big, that is constantly growing, it is not unusual to have a glitch now and then. I hope they get it fixed, though as the pictures certainly brighten up the site. It is one of the things that sets myLot apart from others I have looked at.

i guess you should report it to mylot admin,cause maybe they can answer your querries.

Mine too was gone most of the day...it appears to have been a glitch...and it also appears to have been fixed now...

At first I thought there was something wrong with my computer! lol Glad it's just a glitch. Hope its fixed soon!

That happened to me earlier today. i guess it must of been something to do with mylot.

I think it is the work of the Evil MyLot Deleter. (insert spooky music here) Quick! Lock your doors, fire up your security programs, take precautions, and if that does not make you feel safer..................hide under your bed until this passes. LOL

Well argie, what maybe happening is that this site has gone through so much. It sounds like our mylotius neighbours have become somewhat comfortable with this site and the other people using it may be thinking it would be a good idea to put a pic. As for myself, I like my avatar/icon as it fits my persona quite well.

server problem i think,my new upload avatar gone too yesderday,now the system back to normal.

It could be just another glitch or that mylot had to delete them because of some 'violations'.

I had noticed that a while ago, but i didnt mind it, i just thought that maybe mylot had an error and will be returning it soon.

Hi Argie 713, Glad you posted your question, I put almost the same question on a discussion on my site. Sorry that it is happening to you and other mylot users...and I am as frustrated as you are....GRRRRRR.

i think it's a mylot glitch and i know it's temporary. mylot will surely do something to correct that. just go on and continue what you are doing.and if you have comments or questions you can contact mylot immediately, and i know they will reply to you.

I think there are some problems with mylot. They have problems or late updates when it comes to photos uploaded. I am not that sure but I am also experiencing it sometimes.

I really dont know about that i dont have any problems with mylot but have seen few people avatars deleted by mylot few days ago.I have not uploaded photos to my discussion so this deleting never happend to me.hope everything will become alright soon.

I never uploaded a photo. May be I will start doing. I am not sure if for pictures they pay one time or on pay per view basis. In fact, today I uploaded my Avtar, a flower. I would have liked to upload my picture, but all of my pictures in my computer have been erased. I have to take new ones now. I think Avtar is good. One should have it. An avtar could be a source of attraction. I don't know why pictures should disappear. I don't think they break any rules.

I've noticed that too. I have just posted a discussion and while editing it, the photo I attached was gone. Maybe there are some technical problems with Mylot today.

I think it is just a glitch. Some of my pictures weren't working earlier but I logged in again and everything seems to be ok - as far as i can tell. Hope your problem has also resolved itself...
