Where do you get your source of daily news?

Would you rather watch the news on tv? OR do you normally run out to get a newspaper? Do you even bother to catch up on the daily news/international news?
Personally, i would rather run out to buy a newspaper.. I know it's kinda old fashioned, but I really enjoy my newspaper time. Besides, we always have dinner around the time our local news starts. Occasionally though, late at night, I will turn on CNN and check out the latest headlines.
What about you?? Thanks for responding..

During the weekdays, I go to work by subway and there is the free distribution of newspaper (called Metro), bascially, I would just grab one and catch up with everything when I am on my way. It's really convenient and I love it that I don't have to pay *laughs*. During the weekends, I am usually very busy doing my stuff and I would forget to catch up with the news. I prefer to catch up during the weekdays, I don't bother with news that much during weekends.

I love free stuff *laughs*. What I love about the news on the internet would be that it has worldwide news instead of focusing on the local news. Most of the time, I just love to know more about what's happening in the other parts of the world.

Oh my god! I had an ex-boyfriend like that too! I felt like he was living in his comfort zone and didn't know anything about the world. I couldn't stand it and we broke up! *laughs* I felt more like a man when we were dating.

Before internet came into my life, I used to enjoy reading newspaper while sipping hot coffee in the early morning. Nowadays I just glance through the headlines go through business section and sports section. Sometimes i watch news in tv while eating dinner.

I usually get the news by watching tv or using the internet. I do not get the newspaper since we can get all the information online. The local newspaper here has its own website so I will look online for local news as well as turning on the tv. I try not to watch the news everyday since it is usually very depressing things that they show on there.

I agree with you on that.. The news can really get me down, somehow. It's just frustrating to watch.. or read, sometimes. Even discussing the news with family members can get me riled up. But then again, that's how the real world is.. can't go running around living in a bubble where only the nice and dandy things happen, right?? Thanks for responding! I really appreciate it.. and sorry for the late reply.

I used to get all my daily news from the TV. I love watching the news, especially the Channel 10 news at 5.00pm.
Now, however, I get quite a bit of news from the internet, especially My lOt.
I rarely have time to read the newspapers.

I like my news to be either on the national or international front. Rarely, do I get into local news....regardless b/c I usually get my news from pbs or ap.org. The others I don't trust and don't really want to hear from. However, I do watch cnn sometimes but they too have their problems....

Hi inallduetime. Thanks for your response. So you rather watch national/international news rather than local news, huh? Same goes for me.. although I do read the basic headlines in my local newspaper. Anyways, thanks again for sharing your thoughts and sorry for the late reply.

i usually get my daily news either from tv, radio and the internet. i surf a lot about news updates from different sources, like tne international bbc, cnn, abc-news, and foxnews. i also read news regularly from local news websites. i watch the local tv channels that broadcast daily news by the hour. i do not buy anymore hard copies of newspapers since i can take a glance in the internet.

I wake up every morning to the sounds of the television. My fiancee watches Headline news on CNN every morning. I listen to that as I am getting dressed. Once I get to work I will read the news off of the internet for something to do. I can read our local paper on the internet so there isn't a need to pick one up.

I read the newspaper almost every day, but at my job and most of the time it's 1-2 days old. I also watch the news on tv almost every day. The only time I don't watch it's when my boyfriend is not there. I don,t really open the tv when he's not there.
I also sometimes read some news on the internet.

I have a local store hold a newspaper for me and I also watch CNN and Headline news. I do not keep up that closely with all of the news because it is so depressing. There is so much going on that I cannot change even though I would like to change it.

I usually check msn.co.uk, msn.com. I then go to yahoo.co.uk and then yahoo.com. I believe these sites would cover all the main news items that are taking place in the world. I may also go to skynews.com and may be the bbc.co.uk site too. I also watch the TV once in a while and in rare occassions read the newspapers.

TV is better, i don't like getting the newspaper delivered or even buying it. I often check MSNBC or fox news channel.
