I took a screenshot of a payment recipt and saved in 'Paint', but when i tried to uplaod it, i realised that its extension is .bmp n its not ben accpeted for its extension.
When i manully tried to save it as 'abc.jpg' , ie with a jpg extension) its still not working - the pic just does not load.
Anyone knows how to get this fixed?

When the image is in paint, go to:
1. File
2. Save As
3. in "Save as type" choose jpg or gif.
The image will lose quality though, I can recommend a free program that converts into any format without any loss if interested! =)

Serif's PhotoPlus 6. I love it!

Just open up the photo there, go to "export optimizer" (adjust the quality level to the max) and save it in the desired format - no loss of quality. Great program considering it's free.

It's been awhile since I used an image format converter. I usually move back and forth between GIF and JPG, by changing the extension. But when I did use a converter, it was XnView: http://www.xnview.com/ Hope this helps!

You're welcome. To be honest with you, the program that MelodyRhapsodical suggested might actually be better. It's been awhile since I last used XnView, and I couldn't tell you now what's so special about it, except that it can import over 400 image formats (it only exports 50). You might want to try that Serif program first. :)

I'm not sure why you would try to save the payment file in .bmp or .jpg file. It's not going to do any good if you ever need to send to someone.
I would suggest you download freeware CutePDF Writer or PrimoPDF which you can print the payment file into PDF file that you can save. It's better off this way that no one can edit the file once you print from screen and as a record for you.
Hope this helps!

Therefore, often in time, you see documents save in text file or in PDF format. In order to read PDF file, you also need to donwload Adobe Reader.
