What comes first to mind...when you think of a child?

Whenever feeling of a child comes to my mind, my son appears in my sight with his cute little round face circling his lips to make Ooo sound:-). I am always filled with joy and happiness, whenever it happens.
What about you? What comes to your mind? Is it a child, your child? Is it something you identify with a child (a flower, idea, something)? What do you feel about it?

When I think of a child... i see them as a helpless, innocent creatures that needed to be loved and taken care of. I see my child with an innocent face smiling at me and trying to look cute just to capture my attention. I see her face helpless when I am doing something and not paying attention to her. so I am forced with a smile to pick her up .

Hello Kamran, this discussion is two months old but i just saw it and i read in the first few responses that the pic is your child's picture and she looks so cute. Well as for me babies are my weakness you can say! i can spend hours just watching them smile, play and doing their baby-talk. The moment i see a child i think of all the beautiful creations of God and a baby is the most beautiful one though the parents have a big part to play LOL. Anyway i play aunt to lots n lots of babies both offline and online. In fact one of fondest hope is to adpot one or maybe even two babies and bring them up as my own. I know that dream will come true one day :)

They are my weakness too, Ano. I used to play a lot with my nephew and for the last few days I have been seeing my kid for hours on cam, everything he does even sleeping:-)

Their faces. Babies and young children don't try to hide their emotions, and whatever they are thinking/feeling is perfectly reflected in their little faces. Smiles, confusion, great joy, a cold,wet nappy!
They are truly inspiring, and give you such hope.

I think of their curiosity and how everything is new and neat. Watching them learn is amazing.
Seeing the world through a child's eyes really makes you see the world in a different light.

a little angel...someone who made life worthwhile...someone you could love unconditionally and get love in return without condition too... happiness...and loneliness too coz they'll be an adult too soon to face the harsh realities of our world...

You have beautiful words to describe feeling about a child. You are right though, everyone has to face the harsh realities. I just hope that they are competent enough to deal with them:-)

so many things comes into my mind when i think of a child. the dream of being a child forever will always strike on - free of worries of this complex world, no problems to worry about monthly bills, no fear of doing things i like. there is always somebody to guide and take good care of us. but then we grow and become old. all left are just memories and we must treasure them.

Whenever i think of my kid his picture flashes on my mind and his cute smile and beautifulround,big eyes makes me feel happy which flashes in my eyes.
