my rule is this. If something lasts more than 3 days I will go get it checked out by the dr. I give it this time to let my body have a go at healing first. Also, i think allowing your immune system to handle things makes it stronger and makes a second attack less likely
blessed be

No I dont because I know that im going to get better and its just allergies or something but If I feel really sick and its lasted for over a week then I would go to the doctors plus I have to for work so they know I was sick and not just faking it by taking the day off so thats why I would go even though a lot of times im to sick to get out of bed.

I rarely go to the doctor when I'm sick. I have to be really sick or have been sick for a long time before I'll go to the doctor. I just stay home away from people and take my medicine with lots of water to get better. Luckily I don't get sick very often. *Knocks on wood*

I still believe in water therapy, it will help a lot.
When i have cough i drink too much water, not the cold one.

I don't go to the doctor very often unless I cannot take the pain any longer or if I see blood hahaha. I have high tolerance to pain and if I think its not serious I do not go to the doctor... my father think its going to kill me one day.

Ok, actually it depends on how much I am sick. If its just some runny nose and little bit sore throat ( I often am attacked by thi) I get some medicine OTC and also little bit of fever, it gets fine with general paracitamol. I mainly go to doctor when some cronic problem or long term illness occurs.

Yes, sometimes we must be aware what are the best medicines so we are not bothered anymore.

The only time I go to the doctor is if I am so sick that I can't move or if I see a bone sticking through my skin. I've never been one to run to the doctors when I have a cold or a cough but I have more than a few friends that go as soon as they even sneeze lol.

Yeah me too...I just do it in my own. We have lots of medicine to help get through this cough, or colds right?

I rarely get sick, but when I do it is bad and I have to see a doctor...I am anemic and have to have my blood checked every 4 months..other than that I just go when I am really sick...

Everytime when I'm sick as well as not sick. Why? Because I feel lazy and want a MC aka medical certificate so that I am officially able to skip work... hahaha... Even if we know what to do, I feel we should always consult the doctor since he can issue MC as well as I have medical insurance provided by the company.
