why are people being banned from mylot?

really? Its the first time I heard of it. I hope someone knows the reason because i do not want to make a mistake myself.

Yeah it is a terrible thing. I was also a victim and I was not told exactly what I did or did not do even after contacting them. I came back because of my friends and I realised many of them are no more active and I assume they have been banned too. I found this site http://www.mycreditapply.com/network/ which may be an alternative. I will try to remain here as long as mylot lets me and then move on to some other tings.

I can't help thinking that the rules they are breaking are rather serious ones not just the little ones, I couldn't imagine Mylot banning anyone for no reason or even for a little reason so I would suggest you just go on and abide by the rules which are very simple and if you stick to the rules then you have nothing to worry about...

I think it's because they don't follow the rules or they post something that somebody didnt like I really don't know I have heard there is so many good people got banned and didntdo anything wrong.

I have not noticed people being banned, but I have noticed people making mistakes lately, including me. I had actually got into it with some people on Mylot. I didn't mean to, I think I just let my pride take over my good sense. Anyway, my rating went down pretty low because of it. One thing that sticks in my head in the guidelines is that they say, take all warnings from the Mylot staff seriously. I have not gotten a warning, but If I do, I will take it very seriously. As with anything that you do to earn money, things can get stressful at times, but you have to remember to respect the rules and keep your ego in check.

I think the reason why those people are being banned here in my lot is because they disobeyed the rules and regulations here. We all should be aware of these rules just before we get started with mylot. Being strict and dis allowing mature contents here in mylot is one of the reasons why I was easily convinced to join here. And I love it.. Honestly, I enjoy being here not just for the money that I'm gonna earn, but also I'm making myself exposed to a lot of discussions and topics under the sun.

I think with out any proper reason,no one will be banned from mylot.If you read rules and regultation and then post and reply any discussions,then i think there is nothing to worry about.I think no one like to be get banned from this site.I think there is no other site who really makes the payment for your discussions.The quality of discussion in this site are very good.After posting some discussions in this site,you will get more matured.Our quality of discusson will also improves a lot by taking part in some discussion.I think we can really improve our communication skill by joining in this site.There is nothing to loose by joining in this site.

i lov mylotting too and i think it is one of the best sites that pays in the whole wide world. :) i just wish that i will not be able to do something for me to be banned in the site. :)

Whoa! I didnt know that. Now, I think, that I will also start getting those 'Creeps' about being banned from mylot. I hope it dosent occur to me because I do like MyLot a lot!

The way Mylot is introducing new features day-by-day, they certainly want new members and introducing these features in their interests only. If some one is banned, then may be they have violated rules some where. Better go through the terms and conditions, rules etc. I think you need not fear.

Mylot people are not so bad to throw you away without any reason. If you want to read the do's and dont's they are all discussed on home-page. If you follow them properly, you will always enjoy mylotting without any disturbance, so read them and enjoy mylotting. GOOD LUCK!

Banned? This is the first time I have heard from it. Maybe some of the people that get banned have been violating the rules here in mylot. I think that so long as you follow the rules, you're safe. As far as I know, they are pretty lenient about what you want to post.

I think the main reason why they are bann is because they dont follow the rules. I think we should review the rules of what is acceptable or not to avoid our account to be closed down. :)

I was banned, and had not the faintest idea as to why. It turned out that I had opened a few tabs to start discussions, and then had started them pretty quickly, one after the other. I started it with 'did you know fact #1', 'did you know fact #2' etc. They did not like that, and banned me. The problem was that I could not send a private message to them to ask what the problem was, or anything like that. I had to use the 'contact us' button at the very bottom to find out what the problem was. Once they explained it (after about a week) I promised not to do it again, and have been careful ever since.

I am not really sure I was banned a few weeks ago for like a week, cause some one tagged my discussion with a !.. I recieved a e mail saying my account was locked and they had to look into my account for possible terms violation.. About a week later I was able to sogn back in and the queation that some one ! was still there. I think if someone ! one of your questions mylot looks into it.

I did not know that people are banned also. It is news to me. I think we must stick to the rules and regulations.

Dear coolcat123 This is the question which always comes in my mind .. I have seen many users coming back with a new id and trying to explain how they get banned from here .. I really don't know what to say about this because I myself don't know the reason. I believe that mylot guidelines should be more visible to all users while starting discussions so that everyone will be aware of the guidelines .. because when I started my discussions here .. I didn't knew their guidelines .. Now I definitely know about the guidelines but we people keep on forgetting .. we are not computers .. we are human beings after all .. so I wish to have guidelines link always present at the time of starting discussions or responding to discussion where everyone can see it clearly. Hope this banning won't happen again and I don't wish to see any members post saying -- My id is banned/suspended from mylot .. I don't want this banning to happen again to anyone just no one.

I dont know why these people are getting banned from mylot. But as others have said, they must be breaking the rules and not following the mylot guidelines. This discussion has helped me a lot in knowing more about mylot. Its been a great help. Thanks! I have a question here. Does mylot gives any warning before deleting or banning from this site?
