many people believe that good speakers are not so good in math subjects.. do you think it's true? im good at math... im good in trigonometry and statistics but im not so good in English .... specially SPELLING.. i admit it... but there is someone i know who is very good in speaking and writting in English and also very good in math... She was not so good in Algebra and Trigo but she could pass the subject... until we attended Statistics class and i was amazed on her.. she's so good... but i guess Being Good in math is not a talent... its on how determined a person to learn.. She came from a school that is famous on english speaking contests... and when she trasfer at my school which has a very good teachers in math, she became good in math... maybe she was just trained...isnt she?

Statistics say, it's true. And very true to me. But it's not a hindrance to all math lovers, the poor english skills. Because, it's quite easy to learn english than math, right?

Maybe the subject itself don't like you. Or the way the teachers teaches you.

i think there is a division between t5hose who speak well and those who are good with numbers. There is a clear division in academia between arts and science. It seems different parts of the brain are active in each activity. We now know that some people have different levels of ability capacity. Each one of us can be trained in each area and may well become compitent but we will have a higher capacity for learning in one area than in the other blessed be

It is never right I think so far... I also think it is vise versa since a good speaker also need to know good caculation indirectly he need to good mathmatics. Being good in math not express that he is 100%& talent but it express a at least a little bit. Anyway, human beings are influenced by his/her environment.. here environment may be a place, person, situation, etc. So she came a touch of good math teacher as well as he did well like you.

yes, I always believed that those who are good in english are worst when it comes to math. I guess that's a clear example of you can't always have the best of everything. But for me, you need to be good in math first. English could be learned.

Maybe but not all the time. Maybe some are really born intelligent but ofcourse they need to use it or else nothing will happen. My brother and boyfriend are both good in math and speech. It takes a lot of practicing for them to be one.
