Yea quit smoking smokers. Smoking kills ! Nice start for you ESKARENA ! Hope you will keep on with what you are doing. Maybe you can try various ways to stop smoking other than relying on the inhailer. U can replace your urge of smoking by chewing something in your mouth. It is suggested that you get candy or gums with mint flavors. Mints are able to relief people's urge of smoking. Anyway good luck to you ESKARENA.

Uh--that kind of defeats the purpose though, doesn't it? You're still getting nicotene which is the most addictive part of smoking

I'm happy for you, it's about 2 years now that my husband doesn't smoke anymore. He was ill for some times 'cause of smoke and the doctor said to him you have to stop it or you'll die. This was the reason for him.

Congrats!! When I quit I used Wellbutin..it was intended to be an antidepressant when it came out on the market, but just by chance they found out it was great for smoking cessation. All I had to do was after taking Wellbutin for 2 weeks just not buy any more cigs...I didn't have any problem quitting at all. I didn't even think about it at all...no anxiety or anything...it was so unreal...it was as if I never had an addiction at all.

You are making a wise decision in quitting smoking. I don't smoke but it would be good that you use chewing gum specially for quitting smoking.

Congradulations well done. I hope you can stick to it. I have tried several times to quit and I always end up back at it. I have gone through a detox program, cold turkey. Strong will power and you can do it.
