So the past 2 weeks since my hubby has been gone to work we have had a lot of storms. We have had 3 Tornado watches where they formed 2 of the 3 times, all within an hour from my place. The last one and the worst was two nights ago and last night we got another severe thunder storm. Pictured is the rain we got last night and it is still raining. I pray it stops soon! I really hate rain! :(

The monsoon has begun here in India. No sooner has the rains started than the newspapers are flooded with the destructions and havoc caused by them. So much of loss must be bared due to rains. Well, there aren't any storms or tornados here but yes torrential rains do lash the cities and the normal life is put out of gear. But I love rainy season.

I am glad we don't get the torrential rains. I love to swim just not in the mud puddles! LOL You must be part duck if you love that weather. Hehehe. The destruction can be tremendous when the weather lashes out any way. Most of our rain has drained since the rain stopped so it isn't as bad as it could have been and I thought it would have been. We ended up with 4 4/10th inches of rain and we got hail with it last night. We also had the high winds. :)

That is a good thing getting the reservoirs filled again. Drinking water is very important! Staying in the house doesn't bother me so much just the rain gets me depressed. Since I moved here 10 years ago we have never had the amount of rain we got that day where it flooded the driveway to that extent. You are very welcome friend. :)

Nowadays, we are having very heavy rains here. Its not possible even to go out of our homes....Sometimes the sky is clear but again the rain starts...But honestly we need a lot of rain. The drinking water supply was very infrequent in summer and now the reservoir is filling up. Its boon for some and curse for some. And by the way, thank you for marking as best.

I love spring rain but im really scared of walking or riding during the heavy rain and thunder..awful. I dare not go out everytime there is heavy rain..and thinking of those are homeless..it's sad from them on these kinds of weather. they are not protected and their home might be threathened to be destroyed.

I don't like driving or walking in heavy rain either. It is so hard to see where you are going and we have a fair amount of dirt roads to drive on and they get really slimmy. Had a tornado near by again today but had some really nice (Hot) weather last week. I am ashamed but never thought of the homeless. There are none where we are but there are in the city. Those poor people!

I would gladly take some of the rain from you guys. We have had some but not nearly enough. I don't want the storms but will gladly take the rain. Before this last little shower we had our grass was starting to turn a hint of brown. We have had a chance for rain everyday but little has come of it. Same with this week. It was a 40% chance today and it hasn't done anything. Just very hot low 90's and very humid. I went to the mail box and by the time I came back I was soaking wet from sweat. I am praying that you will not have any more bad storms.

LOL You better pray real hard they have another tornado watch out for tonight. That's three days in a row of bad storms at night. We needed the rain as well but not that much! It is all drained now thankfully but you still get wet feet if you have to walk anywhere. The dog decided that it was fun to lie in the ditches of water and she is just soaked and dirty and is still wanting to jump on people. Very frustrating! :)

It has been crazy here as well. Saturday night during the storm, my power went out for three hours. I'm very glad I had a high powered flash light my dad had just bought me in case I ever had an emergency. I didn't mind the black out so much as my dogs did. : )
