I was ardent non-veg eater till last month.
But last month it so happened that I had a terrible stomach upset after having non-veg food and after that I have totally lost my interest in having non-veg food.
I have decided to be a vegetarian and I am loving my new diet.
What type of food do you prefer?

I perfer a good mixture of both. At each meal i like to have some veggies to go with my meat. I especialy like mixed veggies fried in butter. But i never just have a veggie without a meat and never a meat without a veggie.

I was actually a vegetarian for about a year and a half ten years ago. I had a tremendous energy surge, but my hair started falling out, and my skin dried up. I had lost 20 pds, as well! the Nurse at my school freaked when I told her I was not eating protein, and she made me take
prenatal vitamins. (LOL) She told me I absolutely had to go back to eating meats, and I grudgingly obeyed. I wish I hadn't though. It took me forever to get used to a meat diet again, like 4 years.

I take both vegetarian and non-vegetarian diet. As to which I prefer, I too prefer vegetarian diet as I find it more tasty and appetising. Somehow, I seem to dislike eating meat now though I still take them occasionally. I believe in having a balanced diet, and hence I take a bit of everything, focusing more on vegetarian food if I can.

I love to eat more Non Vegetarian food than the vegetarian food. Especially I love Chicken than any other non vegetarian food. I can eat Chicken in whatever way it is cooked.
Sometimes I do take fish, Mutton etc also. But mostly I take just the chicken. There are times, when I have eaten a full chicken as such, without having anything main food to eat. I had a group of friends earlier, who used to visit a famous Non vegetarian food in our city and eat to our heart content.
But recently, for the health reasons, we have tried to control the intake of non vegetarian food and tried to take more vegetarian food.

I love food. I can't be a vegetarian because I have trouble making complete proteins without meat. I've even had dedicated vegan animal rights activists admit I probably couldn't be a vegitarian & have a healthy diet.
That's not to say I eat a lot of meat. I do well to get it once a day.
I love pasta. I probably could eat noodles every day.

My newphew in law who happened to be a medical doctor has been a a newly turned vegetarian. He had dropped so much of weight and looked very sickly, pale and lifeless. Being a doctor I asked him what has gone wrong with him. He told me he is perfectly healthy. Seeing my ballooned out size he advise me to turn vegetarian. He outlined to me that everyday he takes 5 kinds of vegetables and fruits. I did try for a day or two but I can't stand the blantness of the food. I still miss my meat and chicken. I don't see the beauty of being a vegetarian. You miss so much trying to be a vegetarian.

i prefer vegetarian diet. But some times i enjoy chicken and prawns. I think non-veg should be eaten not only because its tasty but also because its heavy in nutritious value. I am not saying that veg food is not nutritious, i am just saying try non-veg just for change.
What happened to you was because you had non-veg at wrong place. I mean ot wasnt well cooked, if this is the case then its real risky, dont try non-veg at new places, where youhave never been before. Eat non-veg only at known places. And dont be a continous non-veg eater, i mean your diet should be a proper blend of veg and non-veg, with veg forming 80% of your diet.

I wish that I was a vegan but I like some meats too well. I also like the junk food. and I sometimes eat too much of it. I do like all the vegetarina dishes that I have eaten. I know that the vegetarian diet is the healthiest way to eat. I know that I would feel better if I followed it but What can I say I'm a week person.

I have been a vegetarian now for over thirteen years. I don't get sick as often and my over-all health is better. There are so many delicious meals that can be made without meat. Best wishes to you on your new diet.

I am not a vegetarian, but my daughter, age 14 is a vegetarian. She has been so since the age of 8 years.
A vegetarian diet can be very healthy, if you make sure that yiu eat all the right food groups & take supllements if necessary.
I have tried being a vegeatraian, but I get too hungry with meat or chicken.
Good luck with being a vegeatarian.

I don't do either.
Although I don't eat much meat. I am strongly concerned about how the animals I eat are killed and I won't eat anything I personally feel doesn't come from a place which follows those rules.
I would prefer either.

I have been a vegeterian for years. I will occassionally eat a little fish, but I haven't had any red meat in years. It is just not good for your digestive system. They say it so long for the meat to actually digest. That means it is just sitting in your system. I love vegetables and eat them a lot. Also there a lot of other sources protein that are very good and good for you.
