Housework - Likes and Dislikes

Some poeple don't mind cleaning house or doing laundry and all the
other little domestic goodies..
On the other people, some people absolutely loathe the idea of
any cleaning whatsoever.
What do you like or dislike about your daily housework regimen?

I know there are people out there that love to clean, I just can't imagine that there are people who like to clean. I hate cleaning. Especially since I have kids. It is a never ending task. But the things I about cleaning I hate the most is laundry and dishes. It seems like they never end. Just when you think you are all caught up on them, there are more piled up.

Yeah I do the same thing with the dishes. It just seems like everyone in the house is sitting around waiting on me to get all the dishes cleaned. Cause its like the moment I get all the dishes done someone comes and puts another dish in the sink.

yes, that aspect of cleaning I really disliked when it came to the kids because it seemed you were constantly cleaning something.
I have found that it works for me to do laundry first thing in the morning and get it out of the way for the day.
As for dishes, I make sure that the dishes are washed after dinner so that when I get up in the morning, I don't have to look at a sinkful of dishes.

I really don't mind so much cleaning the bathroom..
If I do it every day, I find that it only takes a few minutes to clean and vaccuum the bathroom.
And it is even easier now since there is only my husband and myself as my daughter and his son no longer live here :)))

Forgot about the bathroom. Yeah I don't care to clean it either. The thing I hate the most about cleaning the bathroom is the shower. It is a pain to try to clean the grout inbetween the tiles and to get the hazy look off the tiles.

I do not like to dust. It is such a waste of time. I also remember when the kids were little I hated matching socks after the laundry was done.

aahhh dusting... yep, no sooner then you remove those pesky particles, then they magically reappear from nowhere!
I am not crazy about ironing.. especially the white shirts which are made from this ungodly material that is not cotton and does not want to allow for the wrinkles to be removed!! No matter how much you steam them!! aarrgghhhh!!!!

I actually love doing laundry. I wish that I knew someone who loved doing dishes and hated doing laundry and we would just have a cleaning party. We would start at my house and get a load in and then go do the dishes. I think that it is much more fun when you have someone to clean with. My hubby had to help me clean the house yesterday and we got more done in that one day then I usually get done in a whole week. Now the challange is keeping it clean. My biggest problem is that I start to get on top of it and then I go into a bad depression and then it slides which makes the depression worse and then I start to get out of it and then I backslide so when he feels the need to help me get it done we know it is time to find a babysitter for the girls and we go out to coffee to figure out why I am depressed and work on a solution. That is what we did last night and I feel so much better.

I dont really have any dislikes in household chores. I like to do all stuff starting from taking care of my hubby's matters, cleaning, cooking, dusting, and you name it and i like to do it. The only problem i face is managing my time with all the work and then trying to hit the books..So, now a days i dont really strain myself doing all the work by myself. My husband and I just work out things together. First priority is to complete my studies and then only comes household chores ! Anyhow, I enjoy the work around the house. When I can finish the work, study as per my schedule and take care of other household matters and then finally sit and talk with my husband about the day, I feel relaxed and satisfied when I go to bed !

I do not mind cleaning, I don't do it everyday. Simply because I can. There are certain things that I do everyday and other things I couldnt care less about unless company was on their way.
There are 3 things that I absolutely hate, folding the laundry, washing utensils and cleaning the toilet bowl.
Being the only female in the house lifting the lid can be a pretty scary experience. I refuse to do it without gloves, a spray bottle and a long handled scrubber.
I dont mind dishes I just hate washing the forks, spoon, knives etc.
I dont mind the laundry process but I hate folding them afterwards I have been know to divy up everyones clothing and have tossed it on their beds for them to do.
Sometimes I feel as though I am a mom not a maid there are things you can do for yourself even if it is few and far between
