That is just and expression, for the people that don't know what I mean. right now it is 73 degrees, and it is not even 9:00am yet. It is suppose to be 86 today. I am going to put my Air on real soon, when do you think is the best time to do it, as soon as you get up? or before it gets too hot? I think at 9:00 am I will turn it on. When do you put yours on? I would like to know where you live what is the temperture going to be today? and when do you put the air on, do you have Central Air or just plain Air conditioners. It is going to be a hot one and I am going to be ready for it. Stay cool today! thanks Marcie.

In Texas we are just WET and HUMID, last week we suffered with the 90 degree temperatures and with the heat index it put us over 100 degrees, everyday. We are cooler this week putting us at 86 today with 80% chance of rain, my air conditioner has not been turned off since April, I don't anticipate turning it off again until October. Take care!

Its 89 degress right now here in New York. Its supposed to be hotter tomorrow. I turned on the air conditioner very early this morning because I live in a trailer and it tends to get very hot and stay hot. I wish I had central air. I don't like the heat as it makes me sick very easily. But I was looking at the weather and its supposed to be in the 70's on Thursday and continue through at least Sunday. Stay cool today Marcia.

Well Wimbledon tennis started today so naturally it is *issing down with rain. So what's new?
We are 60 miles east of London and the sun is shining between cumulous rain clouds and about 20C and we have had a very wet June. We get about 22 inches (550 mm) of rain a year here normally but I think we are well ahead of schedule this year!
It would be a very rare year when we need air conditioning. I remember last year we had a spell of 5 days when it was hot at night and we slept naked on top of the bed but that's all.

Right now it is 84 degrees here in San Juan, Texas and it's 11:00 am central time. I think is hot to be this early. I always have my central air on at 76 degrees to keep me cool. I think we are going to be in the 90's later on today, because it feels stuffy already.

I live in Canada in the atlantic provinces. It is getting really hot in the days now and that is a welcome actually it took a long time to warm up this year for some reason. It still cools down quite well at night witch is go makes it better for sleeping not to hot.

Hey Marcie, I just got back late last night, I have been out of town. I have window AC units, 1 up stairs and 1 down. Both of them will be going today, I will also be getting in the pool. The AC unit will work better if you turn it on before it gets real hot.

Today is overcast, windy and a bit on the chilly side. Probably in the high 50's somewhere I am just guessing though. When it is hot here we don't have any AC, so we use fans and the windows (in the evenings anyway) to cool down our house. Thankfully our house doesn't usually get hot until about 4p.m. when the sun gets to the one side of our house.

Ugh I wish we had A/C in this house! but we dont (yet) so what I usually do on days like today is have the house all opened up in the early morning then mid morning shut all the windows, doors and curtains....it keeps the house cool enough to deal wiht at least...I cant wait to get A/C though! Summers are so humid and hot more often htan not the past few yrs and its jsut killer for me

Hi, Ravenladyj, That is a good idea to keep the shades and curtain closed, that will cool it off a bit. I wish I could give you onew of our air Conditioners, If ever in Cleveland, look me up. you can get one.

It is wet as usual. It has been raining almost non-stop since the beginning of May. This last round was from friday till this morning with no let up. I do not like walking the dogs in the rain. We don't have enough towels for the two of them!

The weather here in Michigan has been gorgeous for about a week, but yesterday the temperature started climbing. I keep my central air at 78 at all times. As long as it's colder in my house than outside I'm comfortable. I hate that really cold feeling from central air, plus this keeps my electric bill a bit lower as well. The nights have been on the cool side which keeps my house chilled almost until noon.

It is 8 a.m. here in the Midwest United States. It is already 79. It is supposed to get up into the 90s today with high humidity. We turn our central air conditioning system up 5 degrees overnight. Then we just let it there during the day until it starts running. When it runs the first time we turn it down that extra 5 degrees again for the rest of the day. If it is cool in the mornings, we open the doors and windows and let the cool air blow in through the house until it gets warmer outside than inside.
