My sister has only one baby cute boy and she has to stay home to take care of him. If her hubby would have been earning that much I think she would have liked to take care of kid which is doing but has bills to take care of. So then she would have had no worries and kid would have enjoy all the attention. But since my sister likes to work I think she would have started some home business who knows? Cheers:)

Hehehe…it is a good question! If my husband earn $140k income a year, it still depends on my husband would allow me to quit the job or not. This is not a joke.
One of my friend’s hubby wants his wife carry on working although he earns good money. I don’t know the exact reason, but it could be because of the maintenance fee that he didn’t have to pay in case of the divorce. I have to say life is changing nowadays and people’s view is different in comparing the past. Sometimes hearing such stories, I feel bad and insecure.

I think this is a great idea. It's a shame these days that families need two salaries to support family life - but with an opportunity such as this, I would definitely choose to stay at home to look after my child. It would give you a real opportunity to bond with your child, and feel like you are making a real impact on their upbringing - unfortunately children are being raised by television these days!
I'm saying this not just from a woman's point of view - I don't mean to be sexist when I say you should be a stay-at-home-mom. I would feel the same if it were the other way around - if you were earning $140K and your husband had the opportunity to stay at home, I would urge him to do so. I think it is one of the best opportunities you can give to your child! You are very fortunate to be in this opportunity, I wish all the best for you and your baby :o)
